DUBSKOOL / SERVICES
Voice & language services
From artist-led recording to AI-assisted audio and multilingual text, Dubskool coordinates production around your content, audience and intended use. Our specialities are recording for AI and natural synthetic speech, supported by voice over, dubbing and language services.
Each service has a defined brief, specialist direction and human review. We discuss language requirements, source material, usage, file formats and deadlines before agreeing the work. You can commission a single service or combine translation, recording and subtitles within one project.
Recording for AI
We organise artist-led recordings for AI voice projects, from casting and script preparation to directed sessions and checked audio. The recording plan follows your language, performance and technical requirements, with artist permission and intended usage agreed before the session.
↗02Synthetic audio
We produce synthetic speech with expert control over pronunciation, pacing and expression. The aim is audio that sounds natural, communicates the intended meaning and remains consistent with your brief. A person listens through the output and checks it before delivery.
↗03Voice over & dubbing
We coordinate voice casting, directed recording and editing for narration and dubbing. The performance is shaped around your script, audience and intended use, with attention to pronunciation, tone and timing from the first read to the final review.
↗04Translation
We translate written content with attention to meaning, terminology and tone. AI can support preparation, while a language specialist reviews the translation against the source and resolves questions that need context before client delivery.
↗05Localisation
We adapt scripts and written content for the language, context and expectations of a particular audience. The work considers how a message is understood and experienced, while preserving the purpose and character of your original brief.
↗06Transliteration
We convert text from one writing system to another so readers and performers can follow how it should be spoken. Human review focuses on pronunciation and consistency, particularly for names, unfamiliar terms and mixed-language scripts.
↗07Transcription
We turn audio and video recordings into text, with a person checking the transcript against the source. The format follows your intended use, from a verbatim record to a cleaned-up transcript with agreed speaker labels and timestamps.
↗08Subtitles & captions
We prepare subtitles and captions that can be read comfortably alongside your video. Language, timing and line breaks are reviewed together, with translation, speaker identification and relevant sound descriptions included when the brief requires them.
↗Choosing the right workflow
Human recording captures an artist’s performance; synthetic production creates audio using an authorised voice. Translation and localisation can prepare the script for either approach. We will help identify a suitable workflow once we understand the content and how it will be used.
What determines the estimate?
Scope depends on the amount of content, languages, voice requirements, usage, technical specifications and review stages. Our calculator is a planning tool with editable assumptions. A project estimate follows a review of your actual brief.
